Thank you for keeping this conversation going. Medication injury and medication tapering injuries are not even in a doctor’s differential. They don’t think this stuff can happen. Now, they are so busying working, unless they see it, they don’t believe it. Even then, it is usually patients teaching doctor. At least it was for me. I just had to explain, “opiate withdrawal akathisia” to a Medical director of a pain clinic. She’s been doing this 15+ yrs. They look at chills as well “chills” when that can be skin burning and not go away. They see that restlessness & agitation as part of withdrawal. They don’t think that can be every bit as dangerous as a seizure and not go away. They think all this stuff is transient. No harm, no foul. As for tardive symptoms, good luck getting anyone, including a neurologist that understands them. Neurologists understand Parkinson’s and that is it. If you have chronic akathisia, dystonia, or TD, forget it. If you find a doctor who has seen one case, chances are they haven’t seen two. Well… chances are they saw hundreds of people injured by medication, they just didn’t know it.

@nonyabusiness7200 That's dangerous. Once you've gotten off a benzo that caused you harm you can't take it anymore without further harm. It's best to stay far away as horrible as you feel. It's sad that they work like that. Doctors and patients really need to learn this valuable info.

It will. I am experiencing it as we speak. Took about 15-20 months before it started to though. Eat lots of greens and protein. And intermittent fasting. And cardio exercise. Acupuncture and massage of the head. We need blood flow. An extended fast for 52 hours was what kickstarted healing for me. I think it stopped the inflammation for a bit. Supplements have helped me too I think. Specifically vitamin k2 and d3, copper and vitamin e, magnesium, zinc, vitamin c (look up how and when to take these) Edit: a good dose of a multivitamin can do the trick too

I have 2 meds that I’m determined to taper off of this year, one definitely needs doctor help, the other is a benzo that I bought a scale to help me. I’m sorry to mention this, but that blue background you use now is very dizzying because it moves around. Otherwise, thank you so much!😊

Absolutely brilliant very short video, I'm very pleased I clicked on it. And in my case, thank goodness for a wonderful chemical called Procyclidine Hydrochloride. When taken safely (correct dosages) it is a real anti-depressant (the best), which kicks in in about 100 seconds, and fully within 20 minutes. It takes away most of common side effects, and has its own effect of boosting the acetylcholine and dopamine. What a shame that I've heard that a lot of UK doctors (where I'm based), have not been so keen to prescribe it presumably due to the misinformation about it which they believe. The chemical is not addictive, contrary to the advice given in the British Nurses Manual, (except perhaps where too high dosages are being taken). When I raise the funds, I would like to buy a drug marketing license, and I would like to sell Procyclidine internationally to government health departments - amongst other chemicals and supplements, because this chemical Procyclidine can help so many people.

When a patient is on benzo for extended amount of time, it understood that stopping suddenly isn't safe. And many medications are in short supply. For many different reasons, fires at manufacturers, issues with transportation, changing sanctions from other countries, where the main chemical ingredients are processed. What I am trying to get to is.. What would happen if over say a months time the supply was stopped. 92 million prescriptions in American in 2021. That would be a large number of Americans that would be going through rapid withdrawal. The system would be overwhelmed, more than even worst expectations of covid plandemic.

Can you Dr. Witt-Doerring start a residency to yrs in with you? I am a Psych NP who has struggled with PTSD. The more supported I am the less need for sleep and anxiety meds. If you don't prescribe and hold the same philosophies you are marginalized and cannot get positions and no references😮. I was ten years free of psychotropics. A psychiatrist said I have PTSD from the m working in a psychiatry. I used to have a successful career until I questioned mainstream convention. A psychiatrist was against benzo even in ER situation. He gossiped about my meds. He was able to get hold of my ER med list. I’ve tapered off almost all benzodiazepines compared to what I was on years ago. How can psychiatrist ruin people’s lives because of where I was in 2009. That is not where I am today. He has caused such financial emergencies and rumor mills. I am living off credit cards,

    Hi Dr Josef
I would love to tell you my story Paxil 20mg and Klonpin 4 mg and 20-40 mg of Ritalin per day which I became hypomanic for years and then finally full blown mania and psychosis , for 3 months rapid cycling ended up losing my parents house, my company girlfriend, friends over 200k in loses . in my mania checked into a rehab and was cold turkered off everything traveled 3 countries terrified and eventually found out I was in WD have been 9 months off meds and I'm absolutely normal at 35 basically destroyed my life because my doctor poly drugged me. Everyone always talks about withdrawals, which were excruciating, although not enough info in the potential side effects like mania which can add to the life destroying effects and then having to deal with the excruciating intrusive thoughts for months on end and not sleeping panic attacks etc.
    Kind Regards.

Its between the doctor and his patient. When has it ever been beneficial to have twenty people all of different beliefs and education, attitudes and business plans, from north to south, from teens to elderly, from a gazillion different life stories try to make a decision that would impact nation wide. I bet in there costly lengthy education that when they graduated the last glass wasn't headlined DON'T worry, go old goverment will be over looking your every move to make sure that what ever feeling they have about what and how your doing you will get a report card from them to come to the office and see the principle. Somebody some where pissed off the gov and Pharmaceutical company's are paying for. That in turn caused handcuffs to be put on doctors. Government needs to stop making decisions just to use it for election propaganda. 🙄 ❤😊
